1. When did the Rolfers in the Czech Republic first organize their European
Rolfing Association e.V. (ERA) regional association?
We started in 2019 and founded our Rolfing Association for the Czech Republic.
2. Who were the key people who started the association? Who are the
key people now?
This is an easy question, because we are just six people in the Czech Republic, and all of us are involved in the association with different roles.

3. What inspired the group to come together?
We wanted to create a community, exchanging our knowledge. We wanted to
let people know about Rolfing® Structural Integration (SI) and, of course, find more clients and colleagues for us in the Czech Republic.
4. Where is your association located? We are based in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Three of our six members are located in Prague.
5. What are the main issues and the focus for the association of the Rolfers
of the Czech Republic?
We are a very new and young group., we did our common webpage and
now we have started some social medial activities on Facebook.
6. How did Rolfers in the Czech Republic manage their businesses during the last two and a half years of COVID-19 conditions?
It was a difficult time. We did not get much state support. Some of us have
second jobs.
7. What are the goals and aspirations for the association in 2022 and 2023?
The workshop we had been organizing for September 2022 with Konrad Obermeier has been postponed until the spring of 2023, the topic is “About Breathing and the Diaphragm.” We are very happy to be welcoming colleagues to Prague to study together, more information can be found on our website (see above). In general, we also want to be more visible in our local region,
as well as internationally, which leads us to focus on our social media. Another topic we are thinking about for 2023 is promotions and building relationships.
8. What would you like our colleagues around the world to know about Rolfing
SI in the Czech Republic?
We are a small and very wonderful country with a group of motivated Rolfers – come and visit us! ■
